Oregon Boys & Girls Clubs serve kids ages 3 through 18 with a variety of age-appropriate programming to support every stage of growth and development. Clubs implement locally and nationally developed programs, including evidence-informed and research-based curricula, while providing a safe and positive place for youth and teens to be outside of school.
Character & Leadership
We help youth become responsible, caring citizens as they develop leadership skills and gain opportunities for planning, decision-making, and contributing to community needs.
Keystone Clubs
Keystone Clubs provide leadership development opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18. Youth participate in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service. Torch Clubs
Torch Clubs are chartered, small-group leadership and service clubs for boys and girls ages 11 to 13. A Torch Club is a powerful vehicle that helps Club staff meet the special character development needs of younger adolescents at a critical stage in their life. Learn more HERE

Healthy Lifestyles
Every young person should be equipped to make healthy decisions resulting in positive social, emotional, and physical well-being. When young people live healthy lifestyles, they are able to make decisions that result in their social, emotional and physical well-being.
Our programs help youth engage in positive behaviors that nurture their well-being. Club members learn how to manage stress, demonstrate good teamwork, eat well, and keep physically fit. Club teens are less likely to use drugs or alcohol and more likely to engage in regular physical activity than their peers nationally. **

SMART Moves is a prevention and education program addressing problems such as drug and alcohol use and premature sexual activity. Learn more HERE
Triple Play
Triple Play is BGCA’s proven health and wellness program co-sponsored by the Anthem Foundation and founding partner The Coca-Cola Company. For decades it has built connections with kids and teens, promoting the importance of physical activity and proper nutrition through the program’s three components: mind, body and soul. It provides daily activities and guides to support all three components through Healthy Habits (Mind), Daily Challenges (Body), and Social Recreation (Soul). Learn more HERE

Every young person should have access to a high-quality out-of-school time experiences that meets their interests and needs. Club youth are the leaders, innovators and problem-solvers of tomorrow – developing skills to be change agents in their communities and beyond
Clubs across Oregon provide over 18,000 young people with a safe place, caring adult mentors, fun and friendship, and high-impact youth development programs on a daily basis during critical non-school hours.
Power Hour
Power Hour: Making Minutes Count provides Club professionals with the strategies, activities, resources and information to create an engaging homework help and tutoring program that encourages Club members of every age to become self-directed learners. Learn more HERE
Summer Brain Gain
Summer Brain Gain are one-week modules with fun, themed activities for elementary school, middle school and high school students that are aligned with common core anchor standards. Supported by Disney, each module takes a project-based learning approach: youth engage in a process of learning through discovery, creative expression, group work and a final project or production. As a result, kids develop higher-order thinking skills through the Summer Brain Gain modules while staying on track for the coming school year. Learn more HERE

Every young person deserves to be well prepared for life and career. When young people perform well academically, they graduate from high school on time, are motivated to learn and have a plan to succeed in today’s modern workforce.
Youth of the Year
In the 21st-century world and workplace, leadership skills such as communication, goal-setting and teamwork are essential for everyone – especially young people preparing to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood. Training Teens for Tomorrow
An internship for high school students with a focus on developing skills and exposing our youth to an integrative knowledge base. The core goal for participants as they complete this internship is to be equipped with the skill sets to be college ready, job ready, and career ready. Money Matters & Financial Literacy
Money Matters: Make it Count has taught teens how to set goals, budget, save and invest. In addition to staff-led financial literacy sessions, young people practice their financial decision-making skills through fun, engaging digital tools and games. Teens who complete Money Matters show improved financial management skills, including saving money and sticking to a budget. Find out more HERE

Boys & Girls Club of Albany
Albany Boys Club opened its doors on December 26, 1966, with 488 boy members. In 1979, it became the Albany Boys and Girls Club to include the expansion of services within the community. THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF CORVALLIS has been offering quality programs to youth grades K-12 in Corvallis and the surrounding area since 1975. Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley (BGCEV) has been serving our community since 1999 and is one of the largest and most diverse youth service agencies in the Eugene/ Springfield area.
